Hope is not a torch that burns away the night, but something like a gravity that bends the dark away from light.

Proem — The Cosmic Loom

They say the universe is silent, but that isn’t quite the truth,
For every drifting particle still hums a note of youth.
Not innocence, but possibility: the promise yet unmade,
A whisper from the cosmic loom where destinies are laid.

Stanza I — The Valley of Skyward Stones

In the Valley of the Skyward Stones, the people lived below
A canopy of ancient light that moved in patient flow.
They bore no sacred lineage, no curse upon their thread,
Just pilgrims who felt galaxies lean gently overhead.

One night a child asked softly,
“If the cosmos is so vast, why does it feel like every sorrow here is meant to last?”

The elders answered softly, with a wisdom slow and grown:
“Their light can show the pathways, yet the journey is our own.”

Chorus — Gravity and Light

Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
Hope is pulling us through.
Hope is pulling us through.

Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
We are making it here,
We are making it new.

Stanza II — Bending the Dark

For hope, they said, is not a torch that burns away the night,
But something like a gravity that bends the dark away from light.
A force that pulls the weary heart toward futures still unseen,
A quiet pact between the soul and what the stars might mean.

And sometimes, when the dusk was thin and twilight barely clung,
The sky would open just enough to show where worlds were spun.
Galaxies like lantern wheels would turn in slow parade,
As if to say, “Creation is a thing we all have made.”

The people learned to listen not for answers, but for cues,
The subtle shift in starlight when the cosmos offered views
Of how a single kindness could outshine a thousand fears,
Or how a gentle choice today might echo through the years.

Chorus — Reaching Through

Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
Hope is pulling us through.
Hope is pulling us through.

Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
We are making it here,
We are making it new.

Bridge — A Thought Composed of Love

And in the hush of midnight, when the valley held its breath,
The people felt the universe stretch softly in its depth.
Not reaching down to rescue them, nor lifting them above,
But opening its vastness like a thought composed of love.

They saw that every lifetime was a thread of fragile fire,
A fleeting spark that shaped the whole, yet asked for no empire.

Final Chorus — The Act of Creation

Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
We are choosing to create.
We are choosing to create.

Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
Where the Quiet Stars Convene,
The universe is waiting.
The universe is waiting.

Coda — The Spark Within

So when the dawn returned again, unfolding gold and blue,
The valley woke with gentler hearts and eyes that saw anew.

For hope was not a distant star, nor bound to cosmic fate,
But ignites the very second someone chooses to create.
