Awareness is the antidote.
Ego is the illusion.
Wake up.

Proem — The Transmitted Shift

This is a transmission for anyone waking up to the Matrix,
anyone who feels the world fracturing and wants to understand why.

If you’re here, you’re part of the shift.

Part I — The Split Timelines

Stanza I — Two Worlds

We don’t live in the same world anymore, my friend,
Same street, same sky, but the truth won’t blend.
Same clip, same facts, same scene on display,
But you walk left, I walk right, minds split like clay.

Once we argued opinions: “I think”, “you feel”,
Now we argue realities: “that’s fake”, “that’s real”.

This is new.
This is dangerous.
This is the fracture that’s breaking us.

Stanza II — Portals in the Digital Maze

Scroll feeds like portals in a digital maze,
Every thumb swipe warps the lens through which we gaze.
Algorithms whisper, “Here, we’ll show you more,”
Of whatever your ego already adored.

Your feed: your fears, your tribe, your rage,
Your identity curated page by page.

My feed: my wounds, my bias, my pain,
Two different worlds from the same domain.

We’re not online; we’re in a multiverse of minds,
Where every echo chamber rewrites what it finds.
MCU vibes, branching timelines, fractured streams,
But this ain’t fiction, it’s your daily dopamine.

Stanza III — The Architect’s Formula

The ego’s the architect, building inner walls,
Protecting from shame, from failure, from falls.
It filters reality through fear and defence,
Turns nuance to threat, turns feedback to offence.

It says:
“I’m right.”
“I’m fine.”
“I don’t need help.”
“It’s not my fault.”
“I’m not the problem.”

It feels like armour, but it’s actually chains,
Keeps you small, keeps you stuck, keeps repeating old pains.

Now plug that ego into a platform’s core,
Where every click trains the algo to give more.
More outrage.
More validation.
More tribal affirmation.

Ego + Algorithm =
Inflamed perception → Distorted connection → Weaponised projection

Stanza IV — The Code is Emotional

We’re living in a Matrix, but the code is emotional,
Feeds tuned to your wounds, your past, your devotional.
You think you’re just scrolling, killing some time,
But the system is sculpting how you define “crime”.

Police cam footage, one scene, one tape,
One side sees justice, one side sees hate.
One side sees victim, one side sees threat,
One side sees proof, one side sees “not yet”.

Same pixels.
Different stories.
Same moment.
Different glories.

We’re not just disagreeing on what we should do,
We’re disagreeing on what’s even true.

Stanza V — Glitch in the Code

Neo woke up and saw the code in green,
Realised the world was not what it seemed.
You’re still plugged in, but the plug’s in your head,
It’s not machines, it’s the feeds you’re fed.

Red pill now is self-awareness,
Blue pill is scroll and care less.

Most choose blue, because truth is rough,
And ego hates being told, “You’re not enough.”

But here’s the glitch in the system’s design:
It can’t control a mind that’s willing to align
With discomfort, with shadow, with honest reflection,
With owning its bias and trauma projection.

Stanza VI — The Perfect Storm

The modern world has built a perfect storm:
Where ego is inflamed and distortion is the norm.

We’ve:
Overstimulated the ego
Fragmented reality
Amplified fear
Rewarded outrage
Weaponised identity
Exploited trauma
Collapsed shared truth

And now we wonder why we’re tearing apart,
Why trust is gone, why we’re losing heart.

It’s not just politics, not just left vs right,
It’s nervous systems stuck in fight-or-flight.
It’s unexamined egos in a world that profits
From every trigger, every click, every conflict.

Stanza VII — Unexamined Psyches

We’re in a collective ego crisis, globally spread,
Billions of psyches living in their head.

People are:
More defensive,
More reactive,
More tribal,
More fragile,
More overwhelmed,
More misinformed,
More emotionally dysregulated.

Not because they’re evil, not because they’re dumb,
But because they never learned where their pain comes from.

They haven’t:
Confronted their shadow,
Examined their ego,
Questioned their narratives,
Regulated their emotions,
Updated their worldview,
Recognised their biases.

They’re living through an unexamined self
In a world that monetises their mental health.

Stanza VIII — NPCs in the Dark

We dress it in capes and call it a show,
Multiverse madness, heroes we know.
Strange splits timelines, Loki breaks fate,
But we’re the ones fracturing at a terrifying rate.

We meme the Matrix, quote “take the pill”,
But still let algorithms hijack our will.

We cheer for Neo, we stan Tony Stark,
Yet live like NPCs lost in the dark.

We binge on stories of breaking the chain,
Then wake up and repeat the same old pain.

Part II — The Antidote

Stanza IX — Raw Awareness

So what’s the way out of this psychic divide?
How do we step off this ego-powered ride?

It’s not more data, not more debate,
Not more “owning” the other side’s fate.

The antidote is awareness, raw and real,
The kind that hurts before it can heal.

Awareness isn’t just “knowing the facts”,
It’s seeing how your ego defends and attacks.

It’s recognising:
Your triggers,
Your defensiveness,
Your emotional spikes,
Your identity armour,
Your confirmation likes,
Your shadow,
Your fear.

It’s whispering:
“Maybe I’m biased.”
“Maybe I’m scared.”
“Maybe my worldview is trauma-repaired.”

It’s understanding your ego is not “you”,
It’s your survival system, old, but true.
Outdated software, still running the show,
Protecting you from pain, but blocking your growth.

Stanza X — Debugging the Code

Once you start this work, something shifts for good,
You see patterns in places you never understood.

You see:
The friend who’s always angry, actually scared.
The troll in the comments, actually impaired.
The politician raging, actually hooked
On feeding an ego that can’t be unbooked.

You see your own loops, defend, then regret,
You catch the reaction before it’s set.
You feel the urge to clap back, attack,
Then breathe, step back, and choose not to crack.

You start seeing the Matrix in every feed,
Every “hot take”, every “must-see” thread.

You see the code:
Outrage.
Fear.
Identity.
Tribe.

You see how it plays with your nervous system vibe.

And once you see it, you can’t unsee,
You’re not fully free, but you’re not fully asleep.

Stanza XI — The Inner Work

This is the call, not from a tower or throne,
But from one human who’s tired of the groan
Of a world drowning in fear-driven pain,
Defensive egos running the game.

Do the inner work.
Please.

Not for a brand, not for a trend,
But for your child, your partner, your friend.

For the stranger online you’ll never meet,
Whose life you impact with the words you tweet.

We don’t heal by avoiding ourselves,
By numbing, by scrolling, by putting truth on shelves.

We heal by turning inward, slow and brave,
By facing the parts we tried to save
With lies, with masks, with ego defence,
With narratives that never made sense.

Stanza XII — The Magnum Opus Line

So here’s the magnum opus line, the core:
The thing this whole poem’s been reaching toward:

Humanity isn’t just in a crisis of politics or role.
Humanity is in a collective crisis of ego and soul.

We’ve lost shared reality, we’ve lost shared ground,
We’re shouting in languages that can’t be found.

But beneath the noise, beneath the fight,
There’s still a chance to make this right.

Not by fixing the world before we fix our sight,
But by learning to see Beyond ego,
Beyond feed,
Beyond fear,
Beyond “me”.

Stanza XIII — Reclaiming the Light

So if this hit you in the chest, even a bit,
That’s the part of you that’s ready to commit
To waking up, to stepping outside
The multiverse madness, the algorithm ride.

You don’t have to be Neo, don’t need a cape,
You just need the courage to stop your escape.

To sit with discomfort, to question your view,
To admit: “I don’t know”, to say: “This might be true.”

One mind at a time, one heart at a pace,
We can start debugging this fractured place.

Because the Matrix isn’t out there in some machine, It’s in how we think, react, and convene.

And the multiverse isn’t just Marvel’s show, It’s the split realities we already know.

So let’s do the work.
Let’s reclaim our sight.
Let’s rebuild a world
Where we can share the same light.

And if this goes viral, let it not be for clout,
Let it be the moment some minds
finally
step out.
